ANNOUNCEMENT: City Fire and Ambulance Services
Now Provided by Cowlitz Fire Protection District #6
Effective November 29, 2005, Castle Rock voters approved annexation
of all city fire and ambulance services into Cowlitz County Fire Protection
District #6. The district obtained all city-owned equipment and supplies
for fire and ambulance services. Additionally, all three of the city’s
full-time paramedics and volunteer force are now Cowlitz Fire Protection
District #6 employees. Residents will not see any change in service levels.
