MEET AND GREET FOR NEW MAYOR
John and Sarah Lee, owners of the Rose Tree Restaurant will be hosting an informal ‘Meet and Greet’ event to allow citizens of Castle Rock to meet the newly appointed mayor, Paul Helenberg and the city council members. The event is scheduled for March 4, 2010, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Rose Tree Restaurant banquet room, 1300 Mount Saint Helens Way N.E. , Castle Rock, WA. Hor d’oeuvres will be served and no host refreshments will be available. The public is encouraged to attend. CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
The Castle Rock City Council will host a Special Meeting, Monday, March 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Location of meeting: Castle Rock Senior Center, 222 Second Avenue SW. Purpose of the meeting: to establish a core Business and Marketing Team to facilitate implementation of the city’s adopted plan. As a preliminary step, attendees will participate in a development exercise which demonstrates the effects of long-range economic planning. All business owners, commercial property owners, community stakeholders and economic partners are encouraged to attend.
City of Castle Rock Small Public Works Transition Announcement
Effective January 1, 2010, the City of Castle Rock is transitioning our Small Public Works Roster to the new MRSC Rosters shared online database. This includes both contractors and consultants listed on the Small Works and Engineering & Architecture rosters.
To continue being eligible to work on small public works projects or consultant projects with the City of Castle Rock, please register your company for free with Municipal Research Service Center (MRSC) Rosters at www.mrscrosters.org and select the City of Castle Rock in your account.
Any City of Castle Rock applications previously submitted cannot be used. You must re-apply.
